The food was absolutely delicious. All I did was walk in, get a drink and didn't worry about a thing… and I loved it. I live in Central Texas and came to Houston to visit some very special friends of mine. My husband and I, along with our friends, decided to double date at Cullen's. Can I just say, "Wow!" Our experience and not to mention, the food, was absolutely amazing. Cullen's is definitely the fanciest restaurant I have ever been to but I felt totally comfortable. I wanted to pause for a moment before too much more time passed to share with you my experience regarding our Christmas Party Cullen’s hosted on December 21, 2012.
I worked with Elizabeth Haug to organize our event. From the very beginning all the way to the close of our event, she was nothing shy of remarkable! Extremely calm, organized, and accessible. I have put together many company events over the years and nothing ever went this smooth and seamless. I cannot thank you, Elizabeth, and the Cullen’s staff enough for making this a memorable event for all attendees. It is extremely difficult to please several hundred employees and I can honestly say I do not recall any mutters or dissatisfaction. Kudos to Elizabeth and your incredible staff.

I received your letter regarding our wedding on January 20th. Hilary Hart did an amazing job organizing and communicating with me and my husband. There were many last minute changes on my end and she graciously accepted the task of accommodating those changes immediately. She helped make our day an unforgettable one.
I also wanted to mention how amazing the wait staff was with our party. Before the wedding I nearly passed out and the head waiter (I wish I could remember his name) was so sweet to offer me water and mints. He and his assistant both helped get me back on my feet in no time. Throughout the wedding he and his amazing crew were incredibly helpful, eager to offer assistance and make us all feel so at home. There was absolutely no stress for us on what is normally dubbed as a couple's MOST stressful day.
The cake was amazing as well and it was exactly as we had discussed in the cake tasting. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting the cake creator, he was very cordial and really knew what he was doing.

We have had three dinners at your restaurant and simply cannot say
enough good things about our experiences. But, I will try. Elizabeth
Harris was outstanding in giving attention to details, making
suggestions for improvement in my plans, double-checking setup, and
followup after the dinners. She is a delight to work with and stands
head and shoulders above Westin Galleria and Hilton Americas, both of
whom we have used in the past.
The ones who took care of us during the dinners were efficient,
courteous, timely and every other compliment I could think of. Again, it
was not so much a "job" for them as an opportunity to "serve" someone
and we were privileged to be the someone. The same can be said for the
video/projector setup. They made sure wires were secure, every
connection worked, and the entire system was ready to go.
I am reluctant to tell you about the price, portion, and quality of the
meal...for fear you may feel justified in raising the price. And, you
probably would be justified in doing so. I do not know of a change I
would make in the menu other than include coffee in the original plan. I
learned that on the last night!

This was probably one of the better choices for Houston Restaurant Weeks. Great menu, same portions (no skimping) and fantastic service.
Only super positive feedback for you and your amazing staff. We were well taken care of.
The only “complaint” was that people didn’t understand how they were able to dance for five hours straight – they had so much fun they suggested that the restaurant must have done something to the food/beverages to make everyone so happy. Feedback was that it was “the best night ever!"

An excellent restaurant with two dance floor venues and different genre on two different stages. The restaurant is quiet and nicely decorated. The food was very good, although mine had to be returned, as the fish was not served as described. But, everyone enjoyed their dinner and the food was served promptly with good-sized portions. A nice place for dinner, dancing, and meeting friends.
Had our wedding reception at Cullen's in November 2011 and will always have a special place at cullens. We love the food, creativity, service, and atmosphere at Cullen's. We will continue to return many times to come.

So this place has finally met my expectations. Our waiter Justin was great and the food was excellent. My wife really wanted to go for Houston Restaurant Weeks so I gave this place another try. It was well worth it this time.

We went for lunch and I had the Ruben sandwich which was great. The portion size was ample, enough to share between two diners. The house wine was a real bargain at $3.95 for a generous pour.

Mr. Roberts had a BLAST! I think I was happier than him because he is hard to please…REALLY! He kept coming up to me during the party saying, “Baby this so nice, I am so happy you picked Cullen’s.” All the guests were saying how nice Cullen’s is and they were thinking of doing something special there, so when they started asking prices and rooms… I said, call my party consultant Elizabeth Harris… she will get you taken care of!

We always enjoy eating at the Cullen's Grille. The restaurant is conveniently located adjacent to our neighborhood, so that's an added bonus for us to eat there when we want something more upscale but at a decent price. The food was excellent as always.
We had our grandson with us on this trip to Cullen's and he enjoyed playing table shuffleboard with my husband. The service and food at Cullen's is consistently good, which is why we dine there on a frequent basis.

This was my second time at Cullen's. The first, Mother's Day, I took my mom and she loved it. She bragged so much that my father wanted to try it as well. So we went for the Father's Day brunch which was amazing just as we expected.

I just wanted to say thank you to management and Mannie. On Sunday June 12, 2011 I had a gathering at Cullen's to celebrate my sisters baby shower. From the moment we walked in my friends and family were treated exceptionally! Mannie was our server, he did a wonderful job and was patient since some of our guests ran a little bit late. Our whole experience was everything I wanted it so be, the food the service and I have to thank you for the chocolate cake at the end of our meal. I took my Mother to Cullen's for an early Mother's Day lunch on Wednesday, before the crowds started showing up. There were plenty of other people there for lunch but we never felted crowded.
We had appetizers and the presentation was wonderful! The food was excellent and my Mom felt very special - she had lots of good things to share with her peers about Cullen's.

Cullen's made my daughter's 13th birthday a very "grown-up" event for our family and small group of friends. The beautiful cake (made by Cullen's own pastry chefs) was outstanding and, with it being the holidays, the kids got to tour the gingerbread houses (also made by Cullen's own pastry chefs) in the pastry area. The staff at Cullen's was phenomenal in sharing their amazing restaurant with us during a tour...there is so much to see!

My wife and I had lunch today at Cullen’s to celebrate her birthday. We had never been to the restaurant before but had heard about it and although I can’t remember what I had heard it exceeded both of our expectations. From the outside of the building to the décor inside, to the atmosphere, to the touch of class combined with a casual and comfortable feeling, the place is outstanding! The food was also excellent and we liked the menu, our four kids will too.
Juan was our waiter and did an excellent job, he gave us a tour after lunch so we were able to see your entire facility. At every turn we were impressed and then when we figured out what the names of the various rooms stood for we liked it even more since we are the same age as you and your wife...the years all meant something to us too.
I am an independent insurance agent and I have several clients that own restaurants so I have experience in seeing quality operations, and yours is first class.

My husband and I have frequented your restaurant quite a few times over the last couple of years. We are both members of five Wine & Food groups, including the Chaine Des Rotisseurs, Les Amis d' Escoffier and The International Wine & Food Society. We have always had a pleasant dining experience with delicious food and wines at your beautiful restaurant.
Your wait staff has typically been quite professional. Recently, we celebrated my mother's 79th birthday at Cullen's and everything went quite well as usual. I want you to know though that one of your service staff named Elizabeth Harris was one of the most exceptional waitresses/waiters that we have ever had there at Cullen's. She was very personable and anxious to please everyone at our table. She was especially kind to my mother about it being her birthday, and made my mother feel very good.
Even though we were still there after your restaurant closed, Elizabeth offered to show us the whole restaurant, whatever was open to the public, including the upstairs dining rooms. We had heard about the rooms before, but we had never seen them. We hope in the future to have some dinner parties there in the private rooms. Also, we will recommend the rooms to some of the Wine & Food Societies that we belong to. We plan to dine at Cullen's again soon, and we will be requesting Elizabeth if she is there on that evening.
We wish that times were better and that we could dine a Cullen's even more often that we do. We are hopeful for business to improve in the future. We are very appreciative that you thought to open such a beautiful restaurant in the Bay Area, and we appreciate having a very fine upscale restaurant to dine at in our area, instead of having to go into Houston all of the time.

I wanted to thank you for organizing our event last Sunday. All of the staff at Cullen's were wonderful and the food was excellent. The evening was as close to perfect as you can get. Our students, faculty and parents all had a memorable evening and requested that we have our annual awards banquet at Cullen's again next year.
